I commit myself to involvement in AcademyWomen and the AcademyWomen mentorship program with the good intentions of developing a stronger personal and professional foundation. I agree to use this valuable resource as intentioned and stated by AcademyWomen. I will never intentionally abuse my position, privileges or responsibility. I will respect differences in personal beliefs, religion, race, creed and morals. I will respect delicate matters sensitive to the profession, the heart and women in general. I will never feel obligated to provide insight, information or advice on issues I am not comfortable with, do not feel qualified in or do not understand. I will feel comfortable referring women to medical, civil and professional resources outside AcademyWomen, as appropriate, but will never use my position for malice or the unnecessary promotion of commercial services. I understand AcademyWomen provides references of resources, but do not feel committed or obligated to use them as anything other than guidance. I take this commitment seriously and with the best of intentions to best serve the community of AcademyWomen.
